Trailer Music II at the St Kilda Film Fest

Where music meets film

Classical music group anon. will be taking its film and music collaboration Trailer Music II to the St Kilda Film Festival at 12.30pm, 20 May in the St Kilda Town Hall.

The 60 minute event is in three parts – live piano trio performance, screening and panel discussion. This event features both musicians and filmmakers on the panel, and aims to drive conversation around the highlights, challenges and surprising learnings from a music-first approach to filmmaking. Free event.

The intent of this discussion panel is to bring a voice and prompt conversation around taking a music-first approach to filmmaking – both from our perspective as musicians, and filmmakers as industry professionals. There is so much that we’ve all learnt throughout the creative collaboration process itself that isn’t evident simply from watching the finished film – the highlights, challenges, and the value of new discoveries and perspectives along the way!
