Ensemble Apex goes Vivid

DJ Dan Murphy is bringing it on

BY STEPHANIE ESLAKE

Think an orchestra can’t get down with it?

IGNITE is the event to prove you wrong. DJ Dan Murphy will bring back some of the hottest dance songs from the ’90s to today, set against a full orchestra, electronic musicians and singers.

Ensemble Apex will feature at the event, conducted by Scott Ryan and with the Sydney Philharmonia Choirs VOX singers. You’ll also experience Inaya Day (United States), Peyton (Ibiza), Cecilia Devine and Zoe Badwi.

Accompanied by lights, lasers, and fireworks, IGNITE aims to see you rocking out to hits from Massive Attack, Daft Punk, Chicane, Robert Miles and more.

Presented by the City Recital Hall and Headliner Group, IGNITE is part of the Vivid Sydney arts festival on 1 and 2 June. Tickets available online.
