Melbourne Youth Music proudly presents its three Virtuosity finalists, Leo Mares, Louis Nicoll, and Yebin Yoo. The musicians enter the next stage of Virtuosity, undertaking lessons with specialist mentors, a video interview, and rehearsals with the Percy Grainger Youth Orchestra.
You can see the culmination of their hard work in the Final Concert, 7.30pm August 7. They’ll perform their concerto with the PGYO before an audience and expert panel (including Pat Miller, Kenji Fujimura, and Sarah Curro), who will select the winner.
On the program will be works by Liszt, Sibelius, and Arensky.
