Rubiks’ Pythia Prize – applications closing soon!

The Pythia Prize is a new commission project that will see an Australian female composer collaborate with Rubiks to create a new work to be premiered in 2018. The Pythia Prize winner’s piece will be performed in Australia and Europe, featuring in Rubiks’ first international appearances in July 2018. The winner of the Pythia Prize will be announced at Rubiks’ Meredith Monk portrait concert on October 23 at the Melbourne Recital Centre. The Pythia composer will receive an honorarium of $2000 and a recording of Rubiks performing the new work.
