Snap giveaway! Art music with Argo

Enter to win!

CutCommon has teamed up with Brisbane music collective Argo to give one of our subscribers a double pass to its upcoming gig, Saturation!

Earlier this month we had a chat with composer Thomas Green, whose work was commissioned by Argo to feature in this concert:

Argo is a new music concert series in Brisbane (new in both senses – it programs contemporary music, and it is also quite recently formed). Connor D’Netto is its artistic director and co-founder, and perhaps someone who pursues music which doesn’t sit well in a box. For Argo’s upcoming concert Saturation, I have written a piece for Tim Munro (flute) and Liam Viney (piano) with an accompaniment of electronic sounds. I’ve called these sounds ‘apparitions’, because they are a bit like spectral constructs of the live elements.

Enter our snap giveaway and you’ll win a double pass to see this music  LIVE with Argo at the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts, 27 May.

CutCommon subscribers, email your name with the subject ARGO to editor@cutcommon.com.

Entries close midnight, 26 May.
